No, really, this is important. Don’t judge this fragrance out of the bottle (OOB). OOB, the smokey base note of Lavender Embers will seem overpowering. Even on a fragrance blotter, this fragrance is overpoweringly smokey. You will only be able to truly experience the mystique of this fragrance in a base like wax, soap, lotion, etc.

I love this scent so much, it's so unique and has a great cold and hot throw. It's masculine and smoky without being overpowering, and the lavender tempers the other notes so that it doesn't smell rubbery like other smoke scents I've tried. It's gorgeous in 464 wax!

This fragrance really wasn't what I expected at first (I had originally used it in a candle ordered from another shop, and then decided to come here to order the fragrance on its own), but I grew to love it ! It's VERY smoky, and very unique. I could see people either strongly loving it or the other way around, but I personally adore it and it's one of my top favorite fragrances from this website.

This is a powerful oil. I would test at 3% to get a feel for it in candles and melts, no joke. Too much is easily overwhelming. At a lower point, it blooms a little and allows for an impression of soft lavender. It’s mostly a smokey eucalyptus, though, and not what I’m looking for.

Do not judge scent out of bottle

This just shot up to my top 3 or 5 scents! OOB is not great. I was weary but I made a candle and wax melts and both smell amazing! Adding to my Fall and Spooky collections! Smells like a luxury fireplace.
