True Rose- Good in CP/Candles/Melts/Lotion-
Erin- Treats Soapworks 2024-10-31

If you are looking for a true rose scent, this is one you should try. I agree with some of the other reviews, it is the green that is missing from many other rose scents. If you like rose, true in your garden rose give this one a try. I think it would also be great with a little more green, possibly the green leaves element.

Performance in melts is strong for HT & CT, using Soy blend no paraffin. Lotion is great, scent stays true in my recipe, strong so I can use it at a low concentration, so far lotion testing is stable, FO is not causing a break in emulsion.

Cold Process- Color did not morph, main batter is creamy color (true to my baseline) so far, had time for 1 color drop swirl and fancy swirl on top, but I work very fast, have everything ready to go, and willing to abandon a design if necessary. The scent is strong at 4.5 % poured on 10/31/24. No sign of ricing, I had about 2 minutes after I added the FO to work.

Cold process soap- I follow the same procedure for all CS FOs. They are made primarily for Candlemakers first, and I find many accelerate and discolor to at least tan. I use a recipe that contains zero shea butter as that ingredient can cause some fragrances to accelerate. My recipe is especially formulated to move slow. I soap at 85-90 degrees for both lye and oils. I always hand stir FO in at light trace with CS FO especially. This procedure with soaping at cooler temps and hand stirring , and adding FO last, and having all else ready, I am able to get good results and so far have not had any batches rice or seize with any FOs I have used. Hope this helps anyone looking to use CS FO in Cold Process Soaps.

WOWSERS!!!

I just made a batch of CP soap with this gorgeous scent and it behaved perfectly!!! Being a floral was fully expecting acceleration and slamming it into the mold. haha I was pleasantly surprised. NO ricing, no separation and very minimal acceleration. I soaped at about 95 degrees, I was able to do some swirls. This would be a great floral scent for more detailed designs. I will update on color and scent retention after cut and cure.

Thank you, Candle Science for this amazing fragrance. It smells exactly like a bouquet of roses. Not the typical rose smell at all. It's intoxicating! BRAVO and please don't stop making it!

OMG YES!!
Red 2024-10-13

I have looked for nearly 4 years for a scent that smelled like roses did, when I grew up. I have a soft spot for roses, as they remind me of my grandma who LOVED them. Until I came here and bought this, I didn't think I'd ever get the scent I desired so much. I will be buying a lot more of it. I find it has a strong CT as well as HT, which I needed for my projects. OMG, it smells like a flower shop in my house and I LOVE it!!

Smells exactly like a rose bud
Will B 2024-10-05

I was skeptical about if it would actually smell like a rose or just be similar, but it smells exactly like a rose bud. So if that is what you're looking for, this is it.
