New Scents, New Adventures!  Our Spring & Summer 2025 fragrance lineup is here—packed with sunshine, wanderlust, and pure magic. Don’t miss a single scent!

Evoke the splendor of white-capped ocean waves crashing to shore with Sea and Stone fragrance oil. This fragrance is an upscale and moody take on oceanic aromas. Classic fragrance notes of invigorating peppercorn, refreshing sea salt, crisp pear, and ethereal aldehydes open this nautical scent. Distinctive facets of resinous labdanum, delicate freesia, and fresh grass add depth to the middle notes. A base of earthy patchouli and rich cedarwood brings the fragrance back to shore.

Sail away with luxurious Sea and Stone candles, wax melts, room sprays, and reed diffusers. Or, try this maritime aroma in personal care products such as soaps, lotions, and perfumes.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils including clove leaf, cedar, patchouli, litsea, vetiver, eucalyptus, star anise, patchouli, labdanum, black pepper, pine, olibanum, citronella, nutmeg, elemi, and orange sweet.

Blends well with: Santal and Coconut, Cashmere Musk, Bohemian Rose

Alternative branding ideas: Lighthouse Path, Seaside Cliffs, Fleur de Sel and Pear

Updated January 2025 - Revised Recipe

Lye Temperature 70.7ºF
Oil Temperature 88.5ºF

We added fragrance at a light trace and hand stirred. We experienced slight acceleration and ricing, but we were able to smooth out the ricing with our immersion blender.

After 30 days, there was no discoloration. The scent retention was very light.

We recommend this scent for use in hot process soapmaking over cold process.

Evokes childhood memories!

I love this scent! I think most I get the grass scent, and I love it because it brings me back to my childhood. It reminds me of spring and summer playing outside with my family and friends in our neighborhood. I remember family parties, such as the Fourth of July, where we spent all day and late into the night outside! I smell the sea salt more as it settles. But it is such a fresh, earthy scent! So far I have made a body wash with it and a magnesium body cream with it. I highly recommend it.

Very unique, love it

Finally a non-aquatic and non-tropical costal fragrance! It can be really hard to find a costal scent that isn’t Aqua Velva-ish or fully tropical. This is fresh and green, perfect for spring. It makes me think of Ocracoke

I Wanted to Love it

To quote my daughter, “I’m getting pet shop. I’m getting cat food.” For me, I smell raw zucchini and overcooked asparagus. Don’t get me wrong- I LOVE true ocean smells, I lived on an island in New England for 30 years. But this isn’t it. I *wish* it smelled like the woman pining for her husband at sea. Maybe mixed with other scents I’d get that.

Is it an interesting smell? Yes, if you’re into petrichor and such. For now though, I’ll stick with Black Sea, Sel de Mer, Coastal Cottage, and other ocean scents…

Sea and Stone

Very nice! The grass and sea salt notes come through strongly OOB. I agree with the other reviews that it has a seaweed quality to it. Could be nice as a lighthouse kind of fragrance as it's a darker kind of sea as opposed to a airy ozonic sea fragrance.

This is just beautiful, It screams true ocean and the wet rocks from the wave break. Don’t wait on this one . I’ll definitely be getting a bigger bottle ..
