I have been testing this in a few waxes and different scent loads and it's been working out well for me. No tunneling. I purchased the smaller quantity of wicks to test these out before committing to a big purchase. Luckily this is working out well and will be a keeper.

I am test burning a CS 12 oz. square jar, using 9% fragrance load (I have customers who want a strong smell). The CD 22 is burning perfect: calm flame, no flickering, melt pool to the edges at 2.5 hours. I am very happy with this result! The CS Wick guide will tell you to put a CD 18 on the vessel I am using, but if you are going to increase your fragrance load like I did, then wick up.

I used these recently in my fall collections and wow! They paired beautifully with the black bubble tins 6.75oz and 464 soy wax. Both my hit and cold throws were on point!

This is the wick CS recommends for the new bubbler tins & they were right! I tried two other sizes and ultimately this is the best fit. CD 22’s burn is strong & unwavering. The flame gets higher than I’m used to with my 6oz tins but that just adds to the beauty of the new tins. You should definitely trim often to minimize any black smoke. All in all, I’m happy with these!

This particular wick is great for candle making wit h the 415 Soy Wax. It maintains a consistent flame, excellent melting pool along with an excellent scent throw. The BIGGEST DOWNFALL to this wick, is the MASSIVE MUSHROOMING. That is the only downfall to this wick. Maybe I am burning the candles too long, but other wicks that I've used did not have the mushrooming at all. My next attempt is to use the ECO 16 "6" wick. Hopefully it does not mushroom at all while still maintaining its consistent flame, melting pool & scent throw.
