Works well with many other Fragrances that are not Candlescience brand. Best base that I have found and is now the only base that I use.

I’ve been a CS customer for probably about 10 years, ever since their warehouse was in Morrisville NC, down the street from my house. I have tried other companies’ products and have been very disappointed. The CS fragrance oils especially can’t be beat. My experience has been limited to candlemaking until last year when, on a whim, I bought a 16oz bottle of this diffuser base and some containers to try. I read all the advice CS and other customers have offered before getting started and chose a CS FO that they said works well with diffusers. It was one of scents that smells like a Christmas or pine tree, but I forget which one. Following advice I had read, I used the recommended concentration and stirred that solution until my arm was about to fall off and then I stirred it some more. I placed the diffuser in our downstairs bathroom that is near the foyer and was pleased with the throw it produced. It wasn’t incredibly strong, but it was enough to scent the entry of the house if the bathroom door was left open a crack. After a couple of months the scent strength was fading and I wanted something that wasn’t season specific anyway. Unfortunately I didn’t have any base or containers left as I had given it all as Xmas gifts. So I just added another fragrance to the base already in use that I thought would work well with the pine but not smell like Xmas. I used an old CS FO that is discontinued now, it was a Juniper Breeze copycat if you remember that scent from B&BW. Again, I stirred the solution for what seemed like forever, but the results were amazing! Here it is 9 months later and that diffuser is still throwing plenty of fragrance. I haven’t even changed the reeds, although I do flip them upside down occasionally. They’re not CS reeds, they’re just inexpensive fiber reeds from Amazon. What I have learned from all of this is that the fragrance you choose matters a lot. That first Xmas fragrance I used was good but not phenomenal, but the second round was truly impressive. Also, stir it longer than you think is necessary.

The ONLY reason I do not give it 5 stars is because there is no ingredient list. I can tell my clients all day that its non toxic and that usually works, but every now and again I get a stickler client that asks pointed questions I cannot answer because I don't know for sure what all is in it.

Other than that, I love this base and use it so much that I am now ordering 5gal jugs at time.

Great base. However, I would love to know what the ingredients of the base are for my labels.
Otherwise, its a great base and sell like crazy.

Nice base, I'm testing and getting great results. I just don't know if I can use as a bed spray. Is there an IFRA letter for this?
