The luscious vanilla base then completes this scent like a layer of frosting on a freshly baked cake.

Vanilla Cake Pop brings an indulgent spirit to candles and soaps—and makes scrumptious lotions, solid perfumes, and room sprays.

Updated January 2025 - Revised Recipe

Lye Temperature 78ºF
Oil Temperature 77ºF

Fragrance was added at a light trace. We experienced moderate acceleration, but no separation. We hand stirred the fragrance into the batter and noticed an immediate color change to a bright yellow with this addition. We pulsed very briefly before the soap began to seize and turn into soap on a stick.

After 30 days, the soap discolored to a deep brown and scent retention was light.

We recommend this scent for use in hot process soapmaking and melt and pour.

If you are in need of a unique blend, please read!

Okay so I need to let CS shoppers know of this blend as I am no longer operating in the business space, so I'm hoping someone else sees this and tries it out for their customers!

A friend of mine requested a French Patisserie candle, so I blended this with warm croissant, caramelized praline, fig tree, and ozone element (she specifically requested notes of bread, sugar, floral, and airy) and oh BOY does it smell amazing! Every time I have walked by the candle since pouring it, I get hit with a completely different note in the blend!

I know caramelized praline is discontinued, but I'm hoping it smells just as good with praline element. I didn't track the ratios when I was mixing this together, but if I had to guess ----- 65% warm croissant, 20% vanilla cake pop, and 5% each of fig tree, ozone element, and praline.

This smells so good. I prefer this over the very vanilla scent.

Vanilla Cake Pop

This is really good and my favorite 'cake' fragrance oil. I've mixed it with ambers and ocean scents (cake by the ocean!) it's super good as a mixer and on it's own. The throw in 6006 and parasoy melts is very strong. My customers love it as a roll on perfume too! My granddaughter loves hers mixed with Pink Sugar Crystals. It's also good with citrus oils and almond macaron.

Smells like.....

I wouldn't say this smells like a vanilla cake pop. I would expect a gooey vanilla creamy scent based on the name.
I do however think this is the most amazing graham cracker smell ever! I definitely get a crumbly graham cracker vibe when testing this scent. There isn't an overwhelming cinnamon scent, but a definitely a honey or a brown sugar vibes coming through. I am still giving this scent a five star rating because of the fragrance notes.
