Cold Process Soap Performance

Lye Water Temperature 101ºF (38.3°C)
Oil Temperature 115ºF (46.1°C)

We did experience a slight amount of acceleration and separation but we found these were easy to overcome by alternating short bursts of the stick blender and hand stirring. Once the lye water was added to the fragranced oils, the mixture came to a light trace with minimal use of the stick blender but once the stick blender stopped we could see signs of separation. Continuing to stick blend seemed to make the batter very lumpy and hard to work with. With a little patience and switching between hand stirring and stick blending, the batter smoothed out and we were able to pour the soap into the mold at a medium trace. After 24 hours the soap had a slight yellow discoloration and the scent was very strong. We were able to see that the soap reached almost a full gel with no insulation. After 30 days the soap had discolored to a light tan shade and the scent remained strong. We would recommend mixing in colors before hand stirring in the fragrance to avoid excess acceleration if the stick blender is needed to smooth the batter. A simple design would be best since the fragrance can misbehave in the batter.

Best reed and car diffuser scent.
Kelly 2024-08-10

I have used this to make Reed diffusers and you can smell it from my bathroom into the hallway. I also used it to make car diffuser and this scent has the best throw I have found anywhere. I just made aroma beads with it and you can smell them coming through my drawers. This scent not only has a great throw it smells so good by far my favorite.

CP Soap
Orion 2024-07-17

Pineapple Sage is such a fantastic fragrance! I hesitantly made a batch of CP soap with this fragrance. The soap notes on the fragrance page had me worried about the acceleration and ricing. I soaped at room temperature, added the mica to a light/med trace batter then added the fragrance and hand stirred. The batter remained very smooth and fluid. I was able to easily pour it into the mold...I did not experience any issues at all. I will definitely be making CP soap with this fragrance again. LOVE IT!!!

Blends well with Cypress and Bayberry
Mochi 2024-04-18

This FO has a dominant sweet pineapple scent with some subtle green notes. It smells pretty enjoyable on its own. I used this one to blend with Cypress and Bayberry, trying to add more herb-like notes and the result smell like heaven.

Beautiful in Diffusers
Rosi 2024-04-14

This scent really shines in a diffuser, tested with the 15% recommendation in a small bath and it is powerful. It lingers outside of the space when you open the door. Could probably get away with a lower FL if you don't want an, in your face scent depending on the area it's for. It's also long lasting. This was an automatic winner for my line. After only 1/2 day, the scent was noticeable in the room.

Hell of a thrower in wax
NMT 2023-12-15

This is hands down one of the strongest HT (and CT) FOs that I have. It’s going in my lineup. Using 10% in coconut, para soy blend, olive blends. I could prob go down to 9% as it carries from room to room and I can smell it over my other strong throwers! Fantastic CS don’t discontinue this gem!
