Visions of snow-covered pines and arctic winds filled our minds when we created Nordic Night fragrance oil. An outdoor, wintery scent, Nordic Night bottles a winter’s night chill with top notes of eucalyptus and lavender. Resinous pine is at the heart of this scent, and it rests on an herbal, woody base of rosemary, cedar, and oakmoss that performs well in candles and melts. Approved for body scrubs, lotions, and soap, Nordic Night rounds out wintery product lines.

This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils including pine, cypress, eucalyptus, cedarwood, cinnamon bark, cardamom, lavandin, rosemary, cade, cistus extract, guaicwood, and clove bud.

We did not experience any acceleration or separation. The oils and water were slow to reach a light trace and there was no sign of thickening or stiffening as we poured the batter into the mold. After 24 hours we observed the soap only reached a partial gel through the center. We noticed the areas that did gel were weepy. There was a slight pale yellow discoloration and the scent was strong. After 30 days, there was no discoloration and the scent remained strong. We’re not sure why the bars were so weepy after the initial cut but the bars finished nice and hard.

I can't believe this only has a four-star rating! It is by far one of my best sellers at Christmas time. I think I could honestly sell it year round. It has a great hot throw. Even my mom whose nose blind to almost everything can smell it and loves it!

Winter Best Seller + Personal Fave - don't just smell OOB

When I first received samples of nordic night a few years ago as a new candle maker I actually hated it out of the bottle. So much so, in fact, that I never even tested the FO in products for months (and never really intended to). After reading other makers' reviews about trying it in products I decided to give it a whirl just to see, and boy am I glad I did! Nordic Night is one of my BEST sellers for winter and not only that, but it has actually become my personal favorite as well! To me it smells cold, like stepping out into the chilly air on a winter evening, or the smell of the air before it snows. It is absolutely enchanting and I simply love it. So do my customers. It is the perfect winter scent! Please do not ever discontinue this one CS! It's one of your best, and I've never found anything like it! If you could transform a snowflake into a scent this would be it. (Do yourself a favor and test it in products before deciding--that's where it really comes to life beautifully!)

Like sailing on a norse ship in the middle of winter against the icy fjords and piney wood, this fragrance is a BEST SELLER and my customers love it. It is easily one of my favorite year round fragrances as well, amazing cold and hot throw, please never stop selling this!
