We experienced a moderate amount of acceleration but no separation. This fragrance moved so fast we could not determine an emulsion from trace before quickly finding the batter at a thick trace, all within seconds. As we promptly scraped the batter into the mold we could see it was becoming grainy but did not stiffen. After 24 hours, the soap was much too soft to unmold; after 3 days, the soap was still soft but we were able to remove it from the mold cleanly. We observed the soap had nearly reached a full gel with signs of potential overheating in the center. The scent seemed mild and there was no discoloration. After 30 days, the scent is stronger and the bars discolored to a light tan. For design, we recommend a single color and hand stirring in the fragrance at a light trace.

Riced and accelerated in cold process soap

I decided to use this fo for a Mother's Day soap, and peony flowers are my absolute fav! I waited to add the fo to my batter just before the pour, because of the reviews mentioning ricing and acceleration. This did not help at all. If you are a cold process soap maker, I would recommend doing a single color, and plan on stick blending the heck out of this to get out the ricing, or you might try adding the fo to the warmed oils before pouring the lye water. I was not able to blend out all the ricing myself, but the batter was getting so thick, I decided I just need to get it in the mold. The next day when I removed it from the loaf mold, it had a visibly grainy texture to it, and some areas has tiny wet spots. I gave this 4 start because it is a clean fragrance and smells really really nice. It might be best used w a single color in a soap loaf mold, might work fine in melt and pour soap, maybe room sprays, candles, perfume, etc.

This scent is amazing. CT and HT is strong but not overpowering. Those who may not like floral, will probably like this, as the notes are fresh and light. Perfect scent for any occasion or product line. Please do not discontinue this fragrance.
