Step into a realm of dark sophistication with Leather and Labdanum fragrance oil. Bewitching top notes of bergamot and spicy cloves unfold into a heart of labdanum, complemented by a hint of herbaceous lavender and rose petals. Base notes of luxurious leather, sweet tobacco leaves, and seductive amber envelop the senses in an earthy sweetness.

We recommend using this alluring fragrance in candles, melts, and tarts—or create a line of sophisticated soaps, scrubs, or lotion. It’s also approved for reed diffuser base and is an ideal scent to create a warm atmosphere.

What is labdanum? Labdanum is an aromatic resin used in the perfume industry and a vegan alternative to infamous ambergris–an ingredient once collected from sperm whales. It’s a luxurious note all on its own with leathery, animalistic, and musky notes.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils including patchouli, linseed, and cade.

Blends well with: Moonflower Nectar, Beachwood, Mountain Mist

Alternative branding ideas: Midnight Leather, Smoke and Mirrors, Warm Leather

Suggested colors: Gray, Black, and Purple

Tom Ford Tuscan Leather
Gabe Lytle 2024-08-07

Loving it in some testers - struggling a bit with the HT. It's definitely a love at first smell. I'm gonna bet my bottom dollar this is a closer inspiration to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, rather than Ombré Leather :)

Leather & Labdanum

I absolutely love this fragrance. It smells like leather, tobacco and spice. It carries well in CP soap as my seasoned soap smells great. This is not a masculine scent but an everyone scent. I made lots of samples to get the soap and fragrance out there, but I know my customers will love it. Please keep making it.

Dark & sultry

This is delicious! Dark and rich without being cloying. This scent has a lot of depth and character, it feels like something a sexy villain would wear as a perfume.

F***king fabulous
Christina 2024-07-10

This should have been called f***king fabulous although I did read others say it smells like Tom fords ombré leather. I personally feel Tom ford intends to hit the same pentacle with his fragrances, as candlescience has done here with Leather and labdanum, although he just doesn't quite hit the mark this one does. He falls short to mimic this type of almost tantric, kundalini rising type of experience that this embodies. It embodies luxury and taste. Bc it is so intoxicating it will make you feel consumed, devoured, hypnotic, erotically invoked. You have to like rich, sultry, leathery masculine yet still soft with a bit of sweetness, scents to truly appreciate this fine fragrance. It’s rich, decadent, dense, savory, yet sensual all at the same time. Elizabeth and James made a fragrance called “nirvana bourbon” that reminds me of this intoxicating smell. This by far is the hands down best fragrance oil available and out of the $thousands of dollars I’ve spent on fragrance oils from many different suppliers, this one is hands down, winner winner chicken dinner!!!!!
