Lye Water Temperature 90ºF (32.2°C)
Oil Temperature 90ºF (32.2°C)

We experienced slight acceleration but no separation. After just a few quick pulses and a hand stir with the stick blender we reached a medium trace. The batter remained fluid enough to pour into the mold smoothly, only the last few bits were a little thicker. We were able to tamp the filled mold on the table and the soap was nice and smooth across the top. After 24 hours there was no discoloration and the scent was strong. We observed that the soap only reached a partial gel. After 30 days, there was no discoloration and the scent remained strong.
