Cold Process Soap Performance

Discoloration
Light Tan
Separation
None

Lye Water Temperature 99ºF (37.2°C)
Oil Temperature 109ºF (42.8°C)

We experienced very slight acceleration, but no separation. Initially, the oils and water were very slow to come to a light trace. Once a light trace was achieved, continued stick blending led to near instantaneous medium trace. The batter was still very fluid and poured smoothly into the mold. After 24 hours, we observed there were no signs of the soap going into a gel phase and no discoloration. The scent was fresh and strong. After 30 days, the soap bars discolored to a very light tan shade. The scent was strong; however, it shifted to a more earthy green tea with subtle hints of lemongrass.
To allow time for more complex designs, hand stir the fragrance oil in at a very thin trace and be cautious of over mixing. The discoloration could easily be minimized with titanium dioxide.

Great scent!

This scent is a best seller and all time favorite, it's clean, smells fresh, and has great tea notes. The lemongrass gives it a brightness that is unique, but not overpowering. I wasn't sure when I smelled it, but now everyone who smells it asks me for it! I recently made it into a room spray as well!

Fabulous!

This scent is wonderful! Refreshing, cheerful and clean! Very well named, there’s a really authentic green tea note in there. And a true lemongrass- not sour lemon or golf course grass- real legit lemongrass just like the plant my mom grows.
