Elderberry Nectar fragrance oil bursts with a captivating blend of vibrant fruits and botanical aromas. It opens with effervescent notes of tart elderberry, crisp green tea, and mandarin. Middle notes of floral geranium and juicy raspberry soften the initial brightness while a rich base of oakwood and creamy sandalwood provides a sophisticated finish.

Set a lively ambiance with Elderberry Nectar in candles, wax melts, and room sprays. And add complexity to your handmade bath and body products—like soaps, lotions, and solid perfumes—with this luxe fragrance.

This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils including cedarwood, grapefruit, mandarin, patchouli, gurjun balsam, geranium, citronella, orange, and cedar leaf.

Blends well with: White Oak and Vanilla, Harvest Moon, High Tea

Alternative branding ideas: Elderberry Tea, Elderberry Ambrosia, Elderberry Nocturne

Suggested colors: Dark Red, Dark Purple, Lilac

Updated January 2025 - Revised Recipe

Lye Temperature 101.4ºF
Oil Temperature 86.7ºF

Fragrance was added at a light trace and hand stirred. We experienced moderate acceleration, but no separation. We did not use an immersion blender.

After 30 days, the scent retention was light, but lovely. The bar discolored to a very light tan, just a bit darker than ivory. We recommend a small test batch with your recipe and hand stirring to decide how you can design with this fragrance. Recipes with higher amounts of hard butters/oils may be best served in hot process. Otherwise, stick to simple designs.
