Olfactive Description: Spicy, Cinnamic, Sweet, Woody
There are a few types of cinnamon essential oils, but this one is derived from the leaves of cinnamon trees. Cinnamon Leaf essential oil is an upcycled essential oil, meaning it’s a byproduct of cinnamon harvesting. We love any chance we get to reduce waste! Cinnamon Leaf is a warm essential oil that stands on its own, or in woody or gourmand blends.
A potent essential oil, you’ll notice that a little goes a long way. We recommend Cinnamon Leaf essential oil for use in candles, wax melts, and tarts. It’s also approved for use in liquid soap and lotion, but be mindful to stick to the safe usage amounts.
Candle Maker’s Notes:
Cinnamon Leaf performs well in soy wax, rating two leaves out of three on our soy performance scale. We found the scent to be nice, but we had to wick up for peak performance.
