Brandied Pear is a CandleScience classic, one of our original fragrances that’s been a favorite for over a decade. This fragrance is a sweet indulgence of ripe pear and cask aged brandy. While the revised version is slightly less spice-forward than the original, it allows the bright, juicy pear to really shine through.

You’ll notice that the new Brandied Pear is now soap safe! Enjoy this rare balance of natural freshness and mouth-watering sweetness in a variety of applications, from candles to sugar scrubs, all year round.

We experienced a slight amount of acceleration and some ricing. This batch came to an emulsion slowly. Once we thought a light trace had formed, we lifted the stick blender and saw some ricing. We continued stick blending until the batter reached a medium trace. When all signs of ricing were gone, we poured the soap into the mold. Everything looked nice and smooth. After 24 hours, we observed the soap had reached a partial gel and discolored to light tan. The scent was nice and strong and remained true. After 30 days, the soap had discolored to tan. Although the scent faded slightly, it was still pleasantly strong.

This smell is sooo good. I never had a chance to smell the original, but I love this version. To me, it has a bubblegum note to it, which would normally turn me off but in this I love it so much. I saw another reviewer say it smells like cough syrup and I didn't understand that at all until I smelled it straight from the bottle instead of on a blotter strip. When it's in a candle it looses that cough syrup smell and it's wonderful.

This fragrance is a great fragrance for fall. I love it.
I used it in candles GB 464 and the hot throw is amazing.
I made CP soap and it is the best fea gran e to work with. No acceleration, ricing, for beautiful swirls you have plenty of time. The scent retention is amazing .

Honestly, I was extremely reluctant to purchase the new revised Brandied Pear after reading some of the reviews... This has been one of our longtime favorites and best sellers from the start... so I was a little worried it wouldn't be as wonderful as the original.. Well, we just received ours and I'm telling you, it is almost identical if not better!! I could not be happier!!! So thank you Candle Science, my customers will be so happy!! You guys never disappoint!!
