Cruelty Free
CandleScience and our essential oil manufacturers have similar policies on cruelty-free products. We never test on animals and support cruelty-free alternatives to all animal testing.
Non-GMO
A Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) is any organism in which the genetic material or DNA has been modified in a way that does not occur naturally. Basically, our essential oils are derived from naturally occurring plants.
Certified Origin
The Certified Origin badge signifies that the ingredients for an essential oil are sourced from a certified geographical (country of) origin.
Vegan Product
We confirm that to the best of our knowledge, the essential oil is suitable to be used in products compliant with vegan standards.
Solvent Free
Our essential oils are made using steam distillation or cold pressing (sometimes referred to as expression) to preserve their purity.
Upcycled Sourcing
Upcycled essential oils are made with the leftover plant material that would have otherwise been discarded from other manufacturing processes.
