Our candle tins feature a varnish coating on the inside of the tin to help protect the metal from discoloring. Keep in mind that aroma components like citrus oils, cinnamon oil, and vanillin in fragrance oils can still cause the color of the tin to shift, particularly at higher fragrances loads.

A couple days after I pour the wax the edges of the coating on the candle tin start to get all raggy looking. And does not look like a quality product to sell.

Loved at first but…

I wanted to love these tins, and at first I did, until I started to notice that the black coloring degrades over time, specifically over the rim of the tin. The paint or whatever is used becomes jagged in appearance. About half of my 12-piece box is poor quality with this issue. Instead of trying black again, I will stick to my rose gold or silver tins, as I have had no issues with these.

Paint peels

This is so disappointing, I wanted to love these, but they peel so bad. It seems good at first, but it peels. I have some I can't sell. I just decided to light them and waste my money. Candle science you have to listen to us and change where you get these from. I've been with you guys 5 years.
