Lily of the Valley
Vibe check
- Elegant, feminine, and luminous.
The concept
- Lily of the Valley is a tough scent to capture, and we’ve long been searching for the perfect distillation of this delicate and desirable floral. It’s an important aroma in traditional perfumery, and until now, was missing in our lineup of floral fragrances.
Our testers said…
- “This is a refined version of Lily of the Valley, with nice green floral notes and an accent of lilac to complement the subtle, natural aromas of the flower.”
Trendspotting
- Lily of the Valley is recognizable as the prominent aroma in Dior’s Diorrissimo fragrance. It was Monsieur Dior’s favorite flower, and fresh sprigs of lily of the valley were once sewn into the lining of his gowns for runway shows, adding an extra sensory element to the audience experience.
- Its status as a long-loved aroma in traditional perfumery means that you’ll find lily of the valley in both classic and contemporary floral fragrances, from the famous Dior Diorissimo to modern luxe darling Byredo Inflorescence.

Strawberries and Cream
Vibe check
- Whimsical, Addictive, Playful
The concept
- Strawberry scents can be hard to get right, but this much-loved fruit is always a desirable scent. We wanted to create a truly mouth-watering strawberry scent that balances the lush fruitiness of the berry with a sweet tinge of gourmand flair.
Our testers said…
- “Very warm and creamy. Addictive! True to the name.”
Trendspotting
-
Strawberry has been having a bit of a moment this past year. You might have heard some buzz around the Omakase Strawberry, a darling of Michelin-starred chefs around the world.
It’s also a popular scent note right now given the surge of 90s nostalgia–many of us who grew up in the 90s and early aughts remember all the bold, fruity, juicy scents that were all the rage back then.

Coffee Shop
Vibe check
- Comforting, rich, and euphoric
The concept
- We already have a couple great coffee scents–Fresh Coffee and Hazelnut Coffee. Whereas Fresh Coffee is like a reliable mug of steaming black coffee straight from the pot, Coffee Shop is more like a fancy artisanal variety from that much-talked-about new cafe downtown.
Our testers said…
- “Pleasant with creamy notes, more latte-like. No harsh burnt coffee notes.”
Trendspotting
-
When is coffee not in-demand? It’s one of those perennially popular scents that people just seem to love, no matter the season. A coffee fragrance belongs in any candle line, and Coffee Shop is a solid pick.
We’re also seeing more uses of coffee as a note in other complex fragrances that adds depth, longevity, and interest. Not as a prominent aroma, but rather something that bolsters and deepens. It might be interesting to experiment with blending with other fragrances with dry woody, spice, and deep floral notes!

Chamomile Tea
Vibe check
- Calming, authentic, and clean
The concept
- Who doesn’t love a relaxing cup of chamomile tea at night? A highly requested scent, we knew a chamomile-forward fragrance needed to be realistic and capture the delicately floral, herbaceous aroma that emanates from an actual mug of chamomile tea
Our testers said…
- “Very true to its name! I feel more relaxed already.”
Trendspotting
- Honestly, we don’t think chamomile has ever stopped being a sought-after element. It’s a scent that people truly like. It may not get the kind of attention that notes like oud and bergamot tend to receive, but it’s one of those omnipresent aromas that sticks around.

White Oak and Vanilla
Vibe check
- Sensual, elegant, and smooth
The concept
- The marriage of vanilla and woods is a timeless fragrance concept. While we do have other variations of this type, like Mahogany Shea and Cedarwood Blanc, we thought a version with more pronounced sweetness would be a luxurious addition.
Our testers said…
- “Nice! A sweet, dry, woody type. Would be a good ‘everyday’ scent.”
Trendspotting
-
Aromatic, woody fragrances are popular for their unisex and widely appealing character–but the real beauty of these scents is that they have a distinctly luxurious feel. There’s something about the combination of dry woods with sweet or resinous accords that just feels expensive.
You’ll often see this type of combination in fine fragrance. Scents like By Killian Straight to Heaven and Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace are two popular examples.

Passionfruit Pineapple
Vibe check
- Bright, energizing, and succulent
The concept
- We’ve seen an increase in requests for a passionfruit scent the last couple of years, so we sought out a nice tropical, juicy fragrance.
Our testers said…
- “Super juicy and bright fruits. Hot throw is very strong!”
Trendspotting
-
Most people are pretty familiar with tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, but passion fruit isn’t quite as well known. It’s an interesting-looking fruit, with a rich purple exterior and a pulpy, neon orange interior that’s full of dark seeds and a tart, citrusy flavor.
It’s been increasingly spotted–in beverages in particular–in 2022. You’ll spot it in everything from sour beers, to sparkling water, to milkshakes.
