Universal Additive

Description:

What is it?
Universal additive is a versatile candle wax additive appropriate for all types of paraffin candles.

Benefits:
It is typically used to help with mold release and to increase burn time. It also helps to bind fragrance and prevent "bleeding" on top of the candle, reduces bubbling, hardens wax, and adds a nice glossy finish.

Not recommended for soy waxes.

Directions:

Add 1 teaspoon (approx. 6 grams or about 0.2 oz.) per pound of wax. Universal Additive has a high melting point - about 190 degrees. Heat your wax and then add the UA keeping the wax hot and stirring frequently to make sure it is mixed well.
