Candle Maker (8 oz)

The all-in-one Candle Maker is a compact, easy-to-use unit for small batch soy candle making. The Candle Maker melts the wax to the appropriate temperature, alerts you when it’s time to add fragrance, and stirs your fragranced wax continuously until it’s time to pour. It’s perfect for trying out new fragrances and making little runs of samples to promote your business. Holding up to 8 weighted ounces (227 g) of wax, it’s a convenient device for creating test candles before committing to larger batches and quantities of materials. The Candle Maker is ideal for smaller project ideas, capable of making 16 tealights, four votives, two 6 oz candle tins, or one tumbler. This device can also easily melt wax for second pours to fix any surface issues with already poured candles. No additional equipment is required, so no need to dig into your stash of pouring pitchers, stirring utensils, and thermometers. When your candle is poured and cooling, all you need to do is wipe out the non-stick aluminum pitcher for easy cleanup. The unit works best with low melt point waxes that have a melt point of 125ºF (51.7°C) or less.

Instructions:

  • Plugin the unit and add up to 8 weighted oz (227 g) of wax to the pitcher.
  • Press the first button to start the melting process.
  • The second button will flash once the wax is hot enough to add the fragrance. Pour in 0.5-1 oz (14-28 g) of fragrance and press the second button to start stirring. The unit continuously stirs to ensure the fragrance is fully mixed into the wax.
  • The third button lights up when the wax reaches pouring temperature. (Things happen, so if you get distracted, the unit will turn off after two hours if a button has not been pressed or the pitcher lifted.) Then lift the pitcher and pour the wax into a pre-wicked candle container. Let sit. Enjoy your homemade candle! If you want the strongest fragrance possible, wait at least one week before burning the candle.

If the Candle Maker makes a loud noise, a chunk of wax may be caught in the stirring mechanism. The noise will lessen as the wax melts. To reduce the noise, don't pack the wax tightly into the pitcher. Add some of your wax, let it melt, then add the remaining wax.

A larger pitcher is available as an add-on for this unit.

Great for 1-2 candles without turning the big melter on!

I use this often and have had it for a few years! I also have the larger pitcher to go with it. I find that the pitcher it comes with is big enough to make 1x of my 7oz candles and the larger pitcher makes 2x 7oz candles or 1x larger 10-14oz. I have even made tiny batches of wax melts with this machine. It doesn't make sense for me to turn on my giant wax melter and melt 40lbs of wax just to make 1-2 candles, so that's when I use this little guy!

Amazing Experience

Bought this out of pure curiosity, and was truly taken aback. It takes all the guess work out of making candles, I use 3 different waxes 1 for candles and 2 for wax melts, and lets just say this unit worked great. The constant mixing is key, the wax, fragrance, and dyes are in motion all the time, thus getting a great blend. Now if they only made on for larger batches, I would be very happy...

Hey John! Thanks so much for your review! We truly appreciate your interest in a Candle Maker for larger batches. While we do offer a Large Candle Maker Pitcher, we will be glad to let our Product Development team know that you'd be interested in a larger version!

A Great Little Helper

This thing has made my life so much easier! The wax temp turns out perfect every time, I use 464 soy wax and a problend 450 pillar wax. Pillars have turned out shiny and the container waxes have been cured with a very smooth surface. I plan on getting the larger pitcher. If you want to see wax temp use an infrared thermometer.

Im in love with this machine. I read previous comments and was a little worried but I make sure to clean the little spinner after each use. It works great!!!!

Great Little Gaget

I bought this a couple of years ago and it has really been a fun little machine to work with. It takes the guess work out of some aspects of candle making. I'm a hobbyist so I only make candles for my family and close friends. It just finally stopped working after 3 years of service. 10/10 would buy again. Thank you
